The Lego Movie Review (No Spoilers)

Summary Of Plot:
A regular builder must man up and battle against the system to stop an evil plan which could end the world as he knows it.

I don't know why but something about this film just appealed to me. Not being a kid anymore sucks but there will always be the part of me that watches monsters inc, toy story and the lego movie (please no judgement).

As the film started I fell in love immediately. They incorporated lego into living people brilliantly; from the water to the way they changed outfits, it felt like I was a kid again.
For a film aimed at kids the humour was brilliant, I was honestly in knots (laughing a lot) all the way through. They took all of the lego related clich├ęs and ran with them which is what made this film great. They won't embraced to admit that they were talking lego people and they do what lego people do.

Whilst you are watching this film you will notice that pretty much every voice is from a famous actor / actress for example Morgan Freeman to Chris Pratt. Not that this was really important because its not them acting but it was a really nice touch. With guest appearances from super heroes voiced by people who have played in super hero films (ie Cobie Smulders - The Avengers) the fun never stops.

WARNING - You will be singing "Everything Is Awesome" by the end of the film.

I don't care how old I am, I am not ashamed to say that I loved this film and cannot wait to watch it again. Overall I Give The Lego Movie 8.6 / 10.
